Ultimo

Ultimo is a giant robot that the Mandarin discovered inside a volcano, who reprogrammed Ultimo as his servant. The volcano itself is located in the Valley of the Spirits. Ultimo was introduced as the ultimate weapon of destruction with the sole purpose of destroying Iron Man.

Ultimo first appeared in Iron Man Vol comics, where he nearly destroyed everything in his first appearance until Iron Man stopped him. He destroyed a battalion of the Chinese army on Mandarin’s orders but was stopped from going further by Iron Man, who threw him inside the same volcano where he was found. Ultimo, however, survived and is now a regular feature in Iron Man comics.
