Avengers might have become particularly popular in recent years but Justice League is still the most powerful superhero team-up ever. You can read the comics or even watch the animated series of both these teams, Justice League will always be the winner based on their superiority. They have a literal God in their team who incinerated an entire army of Doomsday clones in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. Avengers just do not have that kind of firepower in their team. Most of their team can be knocked out by Batman if he researches for it. After all, he had contingency plans to neutralize the entire League. Justice League vs Avengers is really a one-sided competition and in this article, we have explained why.
Avengers are made up of superheroes with very limited capabilities when compared to the Justice League. Only Thor has superpowers and even Hulk is a result of a lab experiment gone wrong.
Batman or Bruce Wayne can beat anybody given enough time. So if we ever do encounter a world where we see a Justice League vs Avengers competition then Batman already has plans for beating each and every member of Avengers.
Other than this he has an entire division in Wayne Enterprises to develop weapons and other gear to defeat the Avengers.
Superman is the most powerful superhero among both teams. No one can match his powers. After all, he has taken on Darkseid several times and defeated him successfully while it takes the entire team of Avengers to beat Thanos, a villain inspired by Darkseid.
Superman has the strength to crush entire planets and has even held a black hole in his bare hand. The Golden age version of the character could even reverse time and cause earthquakes. The entire team of Avengers is no match for Superman alone. Superman’s heat vision can be precise up to millimeters and has temperatures in thousands of degrees on the centigrade scale. Only his heat vision is enough to lobotomize the entire Avengers team.
The Avengers lack superheroes that have actual superpowers. Justice League has Green Lantern, Aquaman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and even Cyborg. While in comparison, the Avengers have Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Captain America who are pretty good heroes but lack actual superpowers.
So this point again goes in favor of the Justice League. The Flash alone has the ability to travel back in time because of impeccable speed. Marvel Universe also has speedsters but they do not even come close to the Flash both in speed and achievements. Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter are also two very unique superheroes with unmatched superpowers and have no counterpart in the competitor team.
In a prior JLA/Avengers crossover, Superman defeated Thor while all other fights were drawn. So, it is a fact that Justice League had won a contest in an official capacity. But when two companies combine their characters they do not test the full limits of their characters. The crossover is supposed to provide a unique experience to the readers and not undermine any character or company.
Even then both companies let Superman win which is a testament to how powerful he actually is.
Based on all the facts that we have mentioned, you can choose the winner of a Justice League vs Avengers competition yourself. Although our vote is in favor of the former.
