Intro

The film starts with Trigon giving birth to his daughter with a human, Arella. But soon after, his demonic nature is discovered by Arella, who then runs away with their daughter named Raven. Arella takes refuge with a group of people that teleports her and the baby girl to a different dimension called Azarath. We then see a teenage Raven who uses her powers to learn about her father.

Trigon, however, tracks Raven and Arella because of her powers, destroys Azarath, and kills Arella and the rest of the people in this dimension. Finally, Raven is able to capture her father in a crystal that survived from Azarath and escapes to Earth. There she meets and joins the Teen Titans.

Meanwhile, Justice League fights against the Legion of Doom and encounters a possessed Weather Wizard. Damian helps in defeating the creature possessing the Weather Wizard but disobeys Batman. As a result, the League does not get to gather any intel on the creature. Because of disobeying a direct order, Damian is sent to join the Titans to learn discipline and self-control under the tutelage of Starfire.

Damian immediately looks down on everybody and thinks that he is the best leader for the team. This leads to a fight between Beast Boy and Damian, ending with Damian getting injured and almost dying. Raven heals Damian’s injuries and inadvertently bonds with her allowing Damian to see Trigon and her past and seeing flashbacks of Damian’s life herself.

Further Developments

Meanwhile, Batman and Cyborg investigate the previous attack when the same entity possesses Superman. His brutal attack on Atomic Skull alerts Diana and Batman, who then calm him down with Kryptonite. It is then revealed that the creature is, in fact, one of Trigon’s henchmen and is after Raven. Superman then escapes before Batman or Diana can break his possession. Superman is then seen raising a gate from Hell somewhere in the desert. The entire League, except for Batman, gets possessed by these creatures.

Starfire takes the Titans to a carnival where the creatures call Raven, and she goes to confront them alone. She is almost defeated when the rest of the Titans come to her rescue. Raven then reveals her backstory to the rest of the team, and they head to their headquarters. At the Teen Titans tower, they are ambushed by the League, who try to take Raven.
